Sun Valley Llamas has a number of llamas for sale. We have sold llamas to individuals throughout the United States including California, Oklahoma, Georgia, Indiana, Arizona, Nebraska, Wisconsin, Idaho, Iowa, Missouri and Illinois. We have show quality, pet and guard llamas for sale and provide our customers with continued support and assistance before and after the sale.

Prices of our llamas are very reasonable.  Some of our female llamas can also be purchased with a breeding to one of our outstanding herd sires. A live birth guarantee is offered with our bred females.

Sun Valley Llamas specializes in raising full and part argentine llamas. The Argentine llama is fairly new to North America and they do have some distinct traits. Argentine llamas are known for their dense fiber, robust build, heavy bone and wonderful disposition. Most Argentine llamas look like big teddy bears with wool down to their toes. Most are very sweet, easy to handle and a true joy to own! Dare to Dream is our outstanding 3/4 Argentine Herdsire. Dreamy is truly a dream. He has all the Argentine traits: big bone; pleasant disposition, wool down to his toes. Dreamy is the complete package. He is only on the sale list as we have an abundance of  his bloodline in our herd and we are not able to utilize him as he should be. He has an  incredible bloodline which includes Argentine Don Zunca and Kobra's Gwendolyn. This  special guy has beautiful silky fiber and magnificent bone. Although Madena is not argentine, her sire, Rebano Escondido Costas, was imported from the Altiplano and was one of the Taylor's top Rebano males. Madena has very dense fiber which is found in the Rebanos and Argentines. Her sire, on her maternal side, Madena has the Fiduciary as her grandsire who holds all the records for average and total selling price of offspring, sired the highest selling female llama in history (Mirabelle, at $170,000 in 1989), and has the most registered offspring on the ILR database. Needless to say, Madena is one special girl with some rare genetics from her sire. She is also a big girl! Madena is bred to Dare to Dream with a due date of May 21, 2011.
