Female Llamas

We believe in order to produce exceptional offspring, you must start with the highest quality breeding stock. Our foundation females are chosen because of their superior quality: conformation, bone size, milk production, disposition and bloodline.

After many years in the llama business we have found that Argentine llamas have everything we strive for in our herd. The addition of the rare argentine genetics to our non argentine llamas has  also resulted in bigger bone structure, additional wool coverage and improved dispositions.  We are very excited about breeding these "Awesome Argentines".

"Argentine Graciana" is my special order girl. I could not be more pleased with what the stork delivered...she is everything I had hoped for and more. I just love appies and this girl could not be any cuter. In addition to all those darling spots, she has an excellent bloodline, which includes Argentine Pecos and Argentine Nevara. She is going to be so much fun to watch grow. Gracie was 34lbs at birth and this was from a first time mom. Gracie was born in June 2009 so you will be seeing lots of photos of her growing up on my website.

"Argentine Lana"  is a  pure argentine juvenile female llama. I am pretty sure she is going to be the woolliest llama on our farm. Another great plus is that her disposition is as wonderful as her beautiful fiber. Her dam, Argentine Ilona, is from the 2001 importation and is the only Baldo offspring in the US that is reproducing.  Lana's sire, Argentine Midas, is the only full Argentine male out of Argentine Oberon.  Lana's dad is also one of the very few appy Argentine males in the USA.  Needless to say as far as bloodlines, this is one special girl.

"Argentine Cancion"  is one special girl. We are so excited to have an argentine appy as we have been waiting a long time to see "spots" on the farm. There are not alot of full argentine appaloosa llamas and we are hoping that Cancion is going to produce some beautiful offspring with these gorgeous spots! Cancion's bloodline is rare which makes her even more special. Her sire is Argentine Pecos and her dam is Argentine Calliope, both one of the few argentine appy's in the US. So as you can see our chances of producing more appy's is good. Cancion will be bred this spring to an ultra exotic full argentine stud.

"Goldie" is a suri beauty with great banana ears. She is correct with smooth movement. She carries a high tail set with a strong topline. Her fleece is a tight pencil lock and gold!. Goldie is SLA Kuered:STAR Premium Award.  Her sire is Peruvian Patronis. Goldie is bred to our 3/4 Argentine herdsire, Dare to Dream for an April 2011 cria.

"Awesome" is a part (1/2) argentine female out of Argentine Omar, a stud who is described as having fiber like black silk, fence post legs and  a lover boy. Awesome has been shown on a very limited basis and did very well in those few times, receiving 2 ALSA Reserve Championships. Awesome is now part of our foundation herd. Awesome has had 2 outstanding offspring. She is currently bred to AAL Mucho Grandi, a champion suri male for a fall 2010 delivery.

"Angel" is stretchy and stylish with excellent conformation. Her fiber is silky, soft and silver! Angel's sire is Argentine Mecurio(deceased), a silver stud out of the well known Argentine Don Zunca. This young lady has silver in her genetics, from sire and dam and we are hoping she will produce some silver offspring.  This girl is an Angel!

"Destini" was our first suri girl and oh what a girl! This young lady is so flashy and her fiber is just gorgeous.  She is very correct, has a strong top line, and high tail set. Destini has a stretchy neck and is a fairly tall girl. Destini is very easy to handle.  Her sire is WSL Peruvian Quicksilver, the well known and outstanding silver suri stud.

"Madena"  Although Madena is not argentine, her sire, Rebano Escondido Costas, was imported from the Altiplano and was one of the Taylor's top Rebano males. Madena has very dense fiber which is found in the Rebanos and Argentines. Her sire, on her maternal side, Madena has the Fiduciary as her grandsire who holds all the records for average and total selling price of offspring, sired the highest selling female llama in history (Mirabelle, at $170,000 in 1989), and has the most registered offspring on the ILR database. Needless to say, this is one special girl with some rare genetics from her sire.

"Cuenta" is the daughter of ALSA Halter Champion, Lucchese. She is a pretty grey and white silky paint and has alot going for her. This gal  has style and presence and she is from the famous E-Line. Cuenta has never been in the showring but comes from an award winning line of llamas. Cuenta  has produced three beautiful offspring and we could not be more pleased with the quality of these llamas.

"Marquise"  is a colorful dam that continues to produce quality offspring. Destini, is one of her offspring. Marquise still has a straight and strong topline after producing numerous offspring. She is the type of gal everyone wants in their foundation herd. Marquise has an awesome temperment.
