About Us 

Sun Valley Llamas is owned and  operated by three  generations of the Freeman family. We are located in central Illinois in the town of Canton. Our farm is 35 miles south of I-74. Our llamas graze on 40 acres of lush green pasture while enjoying the cool breeze of our pond and a winding creek. We take pride in keeping our herd small so that we can provide tender loving care to each llama from the minute these fascinating creatures come into the world. By spending quality time with each llama, our llamas are easy to handle and a joy to experience.

Our llamas have been featured in a local television commercials and newspapers. Some of them think they have a future in Hollywood!

All our llamas are ILR registered. We gladly provide support before and after the sale. It is very important to us that you "Experience the Magic" and are as happy with your llamas as we are with ours. Any llama you purchase comes with its own halter and lead and health records. We have llamas for sale at a very reasonable price and we offer a discount when you purchase more than one llama. Guard and pet quality llamas start at $500. As Sun Valley Llamas is also a llama breeder, we offer two gorgeous herdsires, Dare to Dream and Argentine Nevada Smith, for limited outside stud service. We will gladly deliver your llama (s) free of charge within our local area. Delivery outside our local area is available but a delivery charge is applied to cover the cost of fuel.
